It wasn't long after my post on reverse engineering the Dock before Apple released OS X 10.5.2. With it, they also provided us a long-awaited fix for Spaces, which amounts to executing the following from the command line: [#] defaults write com.apple.Dock workspaces-auto-swoosh -bool NO [#] killall Dock You can read more about it on macosxhints.com: "10.5: Disable Space switching on Command-Tab in 10.5.2" So with this feature finally in place, I'm officially retiring Spaces.. Spaces.. Spaces.. At least until such a time as it again becomes necessary - which will hopefully be never!
